Penguin Island is a small island located off the coast of Perth, Western Australia. It is home to a colony of little penguins, as well as other wildlife such as sea lions and dolphins. Visitors can take a ferry from the mainland to the island and spend the day exploring.

Ferry services to Penguin Island operate daily from September to early June, with reduced services during winter months. The ferry departs from the Rockingham Wild Encounters jetty and takes approximately 5-10 minutes to reach the island. The cost of the ferry ticket is $28 for adults and $15 for children (ages 3-12).

Once on the island, visitors can take a self-guided tour of the penguin colony, go swimming or snorkeling, or explore the island's nature trails. There is also a cafe on the island serving food and drinks.

In the surrounding area, visitors can also check out the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, which is home to a variety of marine life such as dolphins, sea lions, and whales (depending on the season). Boat tours of the marine park are available from Rockingham Wild Encounters.
